Kimberly Romero is an Associate Attorney in the firm’s Corporate Practice, advising businesses on a wide range of corporate and commercial matters. She provides strategic, practical counsel tailored to each client’s objectives, guiding businesses through every stage of the business life cycle.

Kimberly focuses her practice on entity formation, corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, business restructuring, succession planning, and corporate dissolutions. She also advises clients on commercial transactions, contract negotiations, employment matters, regulatory compliance, and general corporate matters.

Professional Experience

Prior to joining Phifer Pinkham, Kimberly served as Corporate Counsel for Oxford Global Resources, where she advised business stakeholders on a wide range of corporate matters, including contract strategy and negotiations, employment law compliance, and risk management. Kimberly also collaborated with cross-functional teams to improve legal operations and streamline contract management processes.

While attending Suffolk University Law School, Kimberly gained valuable experience serving as a Student Attorney in the Suffolk Transactional Law Clinic, where she advised small businesses and nonprofit organizations on entity formation, corporate governance, and tax-exempt matters. Before transitioning to corporate law, Kimberly worked in both litigation and immigration practices, experiences that strengthened her legal research, advocacy, and client counseling skills. Kimberly is also fluent in Spanish and is able to assist clients in both English and Spanish.

A lifelong East Boston native, Kimberly is a proud first-generation attorney whose Peruvian heritage has shaped her values and perspective. Her upbringing instilled in her the values of hard work, perseverance, and community, which continue to guide her approach to serving clients.

Outside of the office, Kimberly enjoys spending time with her family and friends, salsa dancing, hiking, trying new restaurants, and traveling whenever she has the opportunity.
