Diane practices in the areas of civil, business and probate litigation, business and corporate law, employment law, intellectual property and business succession planning.
Diane advises businesses and their owners regarding a broad range of corporate matters including entity formation and foundation agreements, shareholder agreements, asset sale and purchase agreements, mergers and acquisitions, contract negotiation and intellectual property matters.
Diane also provides counsel to clients in employment matters including hiring, wage claims, leave issues, discrimination and termination, drafting and negotiating employment contracts, separation agreements, independent contractor and subcontractor agreements, non-solicitation, non-compete and non-disclosure agreements and employee policies and handbooks. In addition to appearing on behalf of clients in federal, superior, probate and district courts throughout the Commonwealth, Diane has also represented clients before the Division of Unemployment Assistance and the Department of Labor.
Prior to joining Phifer Pinkham LLC, Diane practiced at a civil litigation firm in Providence, Rhode Island focusing on business and commercial litigation, products liability, creditor’s rights, and First Amendment rights. Diane also gained valuable experience in real estate management law serving the legal needs of property owners and managers in the Greater Boston area.

Diane recently moved back to the South Shore. She lives in Duxbury with her three young boys, Brody, Lochlan and Cormick. A bulk of her personal time includes attending extra-curricular and sporting events with her boys. As a family, they spend as much time as possible outdoors exploring the beaches, parks and nature trails in the area.
